 Patent Associates and Agents
If you are a patent attorney or patent agent with 2+ years patent practice and expertise in circuit design, software, network security, computer architecture, semiconductor device physics or related technologies, we would like to talk to you about your experience and interests. We require excellent academic credentials and technical degree(s) in EE/CS/physics. We (and our clients) prefer industry experience.
In-School Clerkship (Patent)
We have an in-school clerkship opportunity for a local (Austin, Texas) law student. The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials (legal and technical) and prior work experience in the computer, software, semiconductor or telecommunications technology areas. Unfortunately, we do not anticipate opportunities for students who, while interested in intellectual property, do not have the requisite engineering or science training to sit for the patent bar.
Patent Attorney - Senior Counsel
If you are a patent attorney with 5+ years patent practice experience including preparation/prosecution, appeals, reexam, reissue, counseling, offensive/defensive investigations, opinions, licensing and/or transactions, we would like to talk to you about your experience and interests. We require excellent academic credentials and technical degree(s) in EE/CS/physics, and we (and our clients) prefer industry experience. Portable business is a strong plus, though not necessarily required.
