 Education
  • J.D., The University of Texas School of Law (1995)

Andrew Graham brings a wealth of technical expertise from his seventeen years of prior-career experience developing state-of-the-art semiconductor products, including a wide variety of dynamic, static and programmable memory devices, and products for high-speed computing, data communications, and system timing applications. Andrew began his career in 1976 at Mostek Corporation, where he held design engineering and engineering management positions related to semiconductor memory product design. Then, at GigaBit Logic, he served as Director of Memory Development, overseeing the development of ultra high speed gallium arsenide memory devices. Andrew co-founded Gazelle Microcircuits in 1985 and served as Vice President of Engineering until 1991 when Gazelle was acquired by TriQuint Semiconductor.

In 1992 Andrew began his legal career at the Austin office of Skjerven Morrill MacPherson, initially as a Patent Agent while in law school, and then as an attorney. He has been heavily involved with patents for over 25 years, initially as a prolific inventor, and later helping others protect their inventions. He has been a partner with Zagorin O'Brien Graham LLP since co-founding the firm in 1998.

Andrew's practice emphasizes preparation and prosecution of patent applications, particularly regarding electronic circuits and systems, semiconductor memory and microprocessor devices, computer architectures, telecommunications and semiconductor processes. In addition, Andrew has been active in client counseling related to patent prosecution strategies, product clearance issues, patent invalidity activities, and licensing, for clients both small and large.
